Thank you for your email. I’m looking forward meeting you here in Vienna.

We can visit  the zoo in Vienna – it is the famous ”Schönbrunn”- zoo. There are many animals to see.

In your last mail you told me that you like elephants best. There are a lot of them in Schönbrunn. 

There are also many monkeys. There is another building with many bats.

I'm already looking forward to the time with you in Vienna and Schönbrunn.

But Bella fall in love with him. This film is very great. It’s exciting and sad and has some romantic moments. Actually, the film

is just for girls and women.

A CRAZY TRIP TO NEW YORK by Sophie

Last summer my family and I went to New York. We went to the airport by car and started our journey early in the morning but the weather was very bad and foggy. On the way my sister noticed she has forgotten her passport. My father turned around the car and we got the passport. We were very late for the flight. But we arrived on time. So we flew to New York City. When we arrived we took a taxi to the Plaza hotel but first of all they didn’t have any rooms for us. So we had to pay a lot of money for the bedrooms. The rooms were very beautiful and big. There was a big flat TV in every room and a playstation. We visited a lot of sights: The Empire state building, The Broadway and the Central park. On the last night we went on a One Direction concert. It was very cool. After seven days we flew back to Vienna. It was one of my best holidays ever.

"A letter from the Maldives" by Martin

Dear brother Thomas,

I’m writing to you from the Maldives. Getting there was quite a journey. First I nearly passed the plane because I sat too long on the toilet at home. I also had to take the bus because I had forgotten to fill up the tank of my car with fuel.  Finally I arrived successfully the airport. I was so glad to sit in the plane. I really wanted to visit Maldives once!! Then I changed into a special plane. To a propeller-driven  airplane. But the engine was damaged. So we had to make an emergency landing on water. We all were scared but the pilot wasn’t really nervous. So we had to swim from the plane to the island. At least I arrived at the island healthy. I have a nice week here. I put some nice photos into that letter so you can see the wonderful Island.

"A really crazy trip to New York" by Thomas

One day we drove to the airport in Graz, because we wanted to go on a holiday by plane. On halfway my brother suddenly remarked that he had forgotten his passport in his room.

So my father turned around the car and half an hour later we got the passport. Now we were very late, my father said. We were very surprised that we could catch our flight on time. Suddenly there was an explosion in one of the turbines of the plane. We lost altitude and crashed on the ground. Miraculously we survived and woke up in a hospital in NEW YORK. We all had concussions, but all in all we were OK. We got our suitcases back from the airport and at the end we all had a good holiday.

"A crazy trip to Berlin" by Lena

The story happened in the summer holidays last year. My Friends and I stayed in Berlin for four days. The holiday was nice but the trip was horrible. We started our journey at lunch time. We drove by bus to the airport. The weather was so bad. It rained all the time. After one hour the bus drove in a ditch and we had to wait for another bus. When we arrived at the airport we hurried to our plane, but the plane couldn’t start, because the weather was too bad. Two hours later we could start our trip. At halfway we had to land in another city, because the plane could not continue the flight. There was a hurricane.  After a short time we were back in the plane again and soon we arrived in Berlin. We took a taxi to our hotel. Our rooms were very small but nice and clean. We went to bed and at the next days we visited the Brandenburger gate, the Berliner Dom, and other famous sights. After four days we flew back to Vienna. It was one of my best holidays!

"A crazy cruise to Rome" by Ben

The story began on a Saturday morning. I was taking the post out of my post box, when I found a big headline on a travelling leaflet” Steamship travel to Rome, luxury-room first class, all inclusive - only 50 Pounds!” I was really excited. I wanted to travel to Rome years before, but I had never had enough money for this long journey. But only 50 pounds – good news – we can go. I was calling the travel agency and took one of the best rooms on the ship! Then I packed my suitcase and drove to the harbour where the ship was waiting for me. On the timetable I read that the ship would arrive in five minutes. It was 13:45 p.m. But I didn’t see the ship. It was 15:30 p.m. when the ship was coming. The steamship doesn’t look like a luxury-ship. It looked really run –down, but I didn’t bother about it . “Maybe it is only the exterior view”, I thought. When I went into the ship, I was shocked. The walls were made of rusty steel, the floor was dirty and for one second I saw how a rat ran from one hole into another hole. The personal brought me to my “luxury” room. In the “luxury” room was only an old bed, a little wooden bench and a little wardrobe. I wanted to go back off the ship, but the doors were closed and the ship was casting off. So I had to stay on the ship. The cruise was awful, cold and uncomfortable. And when the ship arrived in Rome, I found out, that the ship just got to Rome - but not back home. So I had to find another ship to get back home. After a while I found another ship back home. It was more expensive but it was okay for me and I felt wonderful and didn’t want to go on holiday by ship again.
